THE PEDAGOGY OF OUR BILINGUAL INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL IN PÉGOMAS
Kindergarten
We know that arriving at a new school is an important time for every child and their parents. From the moment of registration, we do everything we can for a successful integration, adapted for each child.
The teaching team is composed of certified and experienced teachers of different nationalities. The team enjoys an open and positive relationship with the families.
TODDLER CLASSES
Each month the French and English teachers propose different language, musical, motor skill activities around a monthly theme. These activities are adapted for the very little ones, from the age of two. The children will discover the world of sharing, playing, and growing together in fun and colourful classrooms. Play centres and workshops are part of their daily routine. We respect each child’s biological rhythm. We accept children who are not yet potty trained and of course dummies, soft toys.
Their classrooom is colourful and organised around play centres and workshops and of course musical and motor skill activities.
Dummies, soft toys and nappies are welcome.
PRESCHOOL TO KINDERGARTEN
From the age of 2, we welcome children into a section tailored to their awakening and rhythms.
We offer each student a warm welcome, in a positive environment that encourages the intellectual, sensory and emotional development of each child.
The classrooms are cheerful and colorful, featuring "play or hands-on corners" with a variety of specialized materials from different active teaching methods. All English classrooms are equipped with an interactive whiteboard.
From age 4: Phonetic reading method in French and English! Through interdisciplinary themes, French and English teachers each month propose a theme and conduct the following activities.
The schedule, organized in the form of "satellite" workshops of 3 / 5 children, allows for great autonomy and individualized work. The evaluation of the children is thorough. At the end of each period, you will receive a portfolio of your children's work. Every quarter, you will also receive their achievement/evaluation file.

- TPS : Les poussins (2 ans) - 9:00 to 11:20 and from 2:00pm to 4:20pm
- PS : Les écureuils (3 ans) - 9:00 to 11:20 and from 2:00pm to 4:20pm
- MS : Les pandas (4 ans) - 9:00 to 12:00 and from 1:30 to 4:30pm
- GS : Les koalas (5 ans) - 9:00 to 12:00 and from 1:30 to 4:30pm
Preschool-Kindergarten enrolment
For all registrations, the school records are required.
Admission tests may be organized at the request of the management.
The decision of the management will then be notified to the parents.
Early learning in Music and Sport
Motor Skills and Sports
The youngest children will have daily motor activities or physical awakening sessions. Starting from the middle section, a sports teacher will conduct classes in team sports and gymnastics.
Music
2/3 years : With their English teacher, children have daily percussion sessions. They also have an introduction to music with the Italian teacher.
4/5 years : Our music teacher delivers singing, music and piano classes in Italian.
